Environmentally Friendly Solutions – Battery-Powered Machines

At GSV, we place a strong focus on the environment. We are aware that the construction industry generates significant CO₂ emissions, and we want to do everything possible to reduce this impact. In cooperation with many of our suppliers, we have increased our focus on battery-powered machines. In our light equipment category, you will find for example:

• Battery-powered dumpers
• Battery-powered wheel loaders
• Battery-powered motorised wheelbarrows

The batteries used in these machines are now advanced enough to last a full working day. In addition to producing zero CO₂ emissions, these machines are also very quiet. This allows construction sites in densely populated areas to operate for longer periods without causing noise disturbances. The City of Copenhagen has set a goal to be CO₂ neutral by 2025, which further drives the development of battery-powered machinery. Hybrid machines are also available – machines that can operate using both fuel and electricity.
